We just learned about an interesting Jeep authorized popup trailer from The Trailer Depot. This looks like a good basic popup that can handle some off road driving.

The Adrenaline Camper is a recent Australian import to the US that's an interesting mix between 'Expedition Style' and a tent trailer. Since the trailer is more tent than storage, we've included it in the tent trailer section.
The trailer is perfect for a large family or for situations in which you'll be at a base for an extended period of time. Although it's setup for extreme off road travel, the weight and width will keep it off some of the most gnarly trails. This trailer comes with everything including the kitchen sink, a stove, and some front-end and under-bed storage to pack all your gear.
The Adrenaline Camper website doesn't list prices, but it's defininitely in the $20,000 range. Visit their site for more information.

Kamparoo Campers are a unique type of tent trailer. They almost resemble a popup campper, but instead of the tent popping up on the sides, it pops over the back of the camper to open up the tent space. The Kamparoo tent consists of a lower level "Living Area" and an upper level bunk, which is suitable for 2 people. Cots can also be placed in the living area to increase sleeping capacity.
For those looking to take their Kamparoo off road, you'll want to look at the Trans Continental Kit. It includes a heavy duty draw bar, increased capacity axle, reinforced frame and chassis, aluminum trim, fender flares, and 14" wheels with aggressive tread tire.
The Trans Continental Kit starts at $7,995 and goes up depending on options.

The Jumping Jack trailer is a great option for a versatile tent trailer. These trailers feature a rack for up to 2 ATV's, 96 sq ft of space in the tent so you can sleep up to 6 comfortably, and a torsion axle that's rated to 3,500lbs. They're built using 1/8" tubular steel and are powder coated. The water sealed wood deck is replaceable, and the recessed lights are out of the way to avoid damage. The 15" wheels provide adequate clearance, but don't expect to take this trailer on any hard-core trails.
At around $5,500 this is a great trailer for camping & hunting use, especially if you have ATV's or dirt bikes.
